Superfeet Introduces Brand-New Cold Weather Insoles for Men and Women

hotPINK™ and REDhot™ Poised to Hit the Ski and Snowboard Markets

Superfeet, the premium insole brand, are pleased to be launching two new models specifically for the winter sports market. Designed to regulate foot temperature and enhance the fit of winter sport footwear, particularly snowboard and ski boots, the new hotPINK™ for women and REDhot™ for men will keep feet continually supported and comfortable.

The advanced design technology of the new hotPINK™ and REDhot™ builds on the original cold weather protection offered by their forerunner, the Superfeet Wintergreen Premium Insole, which was discontinued in May 2008. “It’s exhilarating to create a new product that we know has been absent from other company’s lines,”

says Superfeet Product Manager Ward Collins. “The ski and snowboard markets have long needed an insole that not only addresses the heat issue, but also provides biomechanical performance and edge control. With the REDhot and hotPINK, this product finally exists.”

Consistent with the company’s proprietary Encapsulating Stabilizer System™ [ESS] ™, the gender specific shapes of REDhot and hotPINK are designed to provide support, shock absorption, power transmission and edge control that help skiers and snowboarders improve their performance. The REBOUND™ high-density hybrid EVA foam full length on both models offers maximum forefoot flex, and the patented stabilizer cap provides stability and alignment to the rearfoot. An all-new heat management system combines an Outlast® Adaptive Comfort® top cover with Superfeet’s new Thermo-Foil™ and AirWeave™ technology layers to regulate temperature inside the footwear and protect the feet from cold.

The new products’ visual appeal is consistent with Superfeet’s ‘colour-coded’ Trim-to-Fit® line, featuring bright colours and packaging with foil accents to appeal to younger customers who are accustomed to the high-tech, high-energy look of snowboard and ski brands. Collins adds, “We feel we’ve created a product that’s edgy and aggressive, but true to our company’s standards of consistently providing quality fit, comfort and performance.”
