We believe it is critical to take ownership, not just for the construction of our footwear, but also the care of it during its functional life and then to dispose of it in a manner that causes least impact on the earth’s resources.

Before we even thought about the specific model line of our footwear we ensured we selected components and materials that would be durable and sustainable – with no compromise on the quality of materials used. By taking this approach we would maximise on the footwear’s practical, functional life.
Optimising the life of your footwear with Nikwax®
We have created an industry-standard cradle to grave programme that considers the complete life cycle of our footwear. This is the key reason why we partnered with Nikwax®. We want people who buy our footwear to use the best cleaners, conditioners and proofing treatments available. By choosing Nikwax® products they will extend the life of their Anatom® footwear.
We are the first brand globally to offer a full annual service on our footwear where both the interior and exterior of the boot is cleaned,reconditioned and proofed using Nikwax® products.
Recycling and re-using
We appreciate Anatom® footwear has a finite life. When our customer feels the footwear has reached the end of it’s usable life we encourage them to return it to us for either upcycling or reconditioning by ourselves and sent to one of our charitable partners in the UK or abroad.

By taking this approach we can be sure that our social and environmental values are upheld. Of course we can always improve and we constantly review our entire supply chain process.
